While the eBook has ruled as the internet marketer’s give away of choice, video is poised to take over. YouTube drives this change in marketing strategy. It is no secret that YouTube has changed from just a casual video hosting platform to a powerful branding channel for many businesses.

But, how does a small business or solopreneur grab the attention of YouTube’s vast audience? It can be as easy as 1-2-3.

1) Grab someone’s attention with a powerful title. This pulls in traffic and sets the stage for your content. People are looking for someone to provide a solution, so bring them to your video with a tells them you understand their situation.

2) Commit yourself to consistently providing high quality content to your target audience. People don’t want to be hit on the head with a marketing message first thing, so provide real value before you ask a viewer to take action for you. think of the questions, concerns or problems your key viewer wants solved and tackle them in your video.

3) Tell your viewers how to learn more about you. Include a URL in the video so an interested viewed can visit your website. Ask then to like your video if they enjoyed it and subscribe to learn when you post a new video. This helps you build a following and increase your views.

Remember, consistency is key, so commit to a a release schedule where you upload new content at least once a week so your audience can learn to expect fresh ideas form you on a regular basis.
